Meg is my cousin. Her family lived on Wilson Avenue next to the Ladrigans and just down the hill from the entrance to Bryan Road where Connie and I lived. Her mom, Lois, was my mother’s youngest sister. Lois was very pretty too. Rex Gatten was her father. Rex and I coached Rowayton Little League baseball together.

Daughter Heidi is now a world class long-distance runner, and Meg and husband, Tom, live in New Hampshire. They also have a son, Tommy.

Hi Donna, I will send you Meg’s address. She doesn’t use email. I’m Meg’s older cousin so Neal is my cousin also. I lost touch with Neal when I went to college in 1961 and then graduate school in Pittsburgh. My mother kept in touch with Neal. Neal was taken care of by Rex’s second wife after Rex died in the 1970’s but I don’t know the details. I believe Neal ended up in a facility in Canada. I have some old pictures of Neal grown up. Sad story but Meg is very happy and has a good life in New Hampshire with Tom and a son (Tommy) and daughter (Heidi).

I have a question… whatever happened to Neal Gatten? Oh how I remember the wallpaper in her room that you could color on. Such a sweet girl. Their Grandfather lived on the top floor (small one bedroom apt) for awhile too. I just loved growing up there. Best days.

Meg & I were best friends for years, I lived at 23 Wilson Ave, top of the hill, bottom of your street. I remember you family, we lived in Rowayton until 1969 the year I graduated. I have a great pic of Meg & I in a boat in the 5 mile river, couldn’t figure out how to upload it, sorry. I’d love to get in touch with Meg.
