  2. ALSO I MAY AD THAT MY DAD STARTED THE VILLAGE MARINE IN THE 60S IN DOWNTOWN ROWAYTON AND ONE OF MANY OF CUSTOMERS WAS ANDY RODNEY. I CAN STILL HEAR THE FOG HORN BLOWING IN THE EARLERY MORINING AS A CHILD GROWING UP IN ROWAYTON FROM OUR HOUSE. IN THE WINTER I CAN STILL REMEMBER SEEING THE CANNON AND THE TREE LITE UP.

  3. HI JANE I AM NORMA AND PAUL BALLARD’S YOUNGER SON. I GREW UP WITH JOHN ROBINSON AND A LOT OF MOVIE ACTOR CHILDREN. I LEFT ROWAYTON IN 1969 AND MOVED TO FLORIDA BUT I STILL REMEMBER ALL THE FUN TIMES ON THE FIVE MILE RIVER..

Don Thompson played softball with the other men and me in the early 1950s across from the Beattys on Highland Ave. In the late 50s he and Charlie Wilson managed the winning Little League baseball team when the league was started. Rex Gatten and I managed another of the four teams.
