Hi Margo – Are you going to the Thomas reunion? I haven’t seen anyone from “our” era, ie, classes of 1958 – 1962, or at least I haven’t recognized names on the fb page. My yearbooks have gone into hiding, LOL, so currently no frames of reference. Are Bronwyn or Pam or Emily going?
Hope you’ll be there
Best regards,
Diane
Laura and Greg,
My oh MY!!! I am so happy to hear from you both. I adored your parents…Toni and Peter….and I guess that extended to my charges….you guys!! Please contact me: I am in NY city…where are you?
Email is: photomad@pacbell.net
I would love to hear from you. Your parents had such an influence on me.
Warmly,
Margo
You look exactly the same (sans long hair) as you did when you used to babysit me many years ago. Greg found this website and it is truly a trip down memory lane.
Margo, it’s Emily Levine. That first picture of you looks like my younger sister, Deborah. Bronwyn Jones I would never have recognized unless I saw her sitting on the floor from behind – she and Pam had the most incredible posture. Laurie looks exactly the same. I’m in NY for a few days then back to LA then back to Berkeley. Let me know if you’re ever in one of those places.
Hi Margo – i don’t know if you remember the Thompsons in Rowayton (Ridgewood Rd. and Rowayton Ave., across from the United Church) – I was interested in your picture with Sheffield Island in the background. My mother used to live on that island in the summer with her family when she was growing up – no running water or electricity – not too many people, either!
Hi Jay,
Yes, of course, we do know the golfer. And also there is Annika of Pippi Longstocking that I am sure your wife grew up with.
Margo
Hi Margo, actually, my Anika is Swedish! I married a young lady in the 70’s, she was born in Stockholm and came over on the boat in the 50’s. Her name is Kerstin Gusterman. So, when we had a daughter in 1979, it just had to be a Swedish name! It means little Ann. You may have heard of a rather famous Swedish golfer named Annika Sorenson. I had no idea that the name is also from Ghana, very interesting indeed! By the way, the Swedes do spell the name with two n’s we just dropped an “n” so that Americans would not mispronouce the name. Thanks, take care, Jay.
