Below is younger brother Dave and me. David lives in Ft. Myers Florida and has his own business “Master Marine Mechanic”. He has followed in his Dad’s footsteps being involved with boats and motors. The picture is of the two of us at my parents memorial service in October.
My dad passed away on October 26th at the age of 91 and then my Mom on October 28th at 88.
I married Lamar Stone in 1986 and we live in Seneca South Carolina. My three daughters (further below) are Melissa Towe, Jennifer Williams, and Laura Lusk who all now live in Seneca. We have one grandson Benjamin, Laura’s, who is 13.

Hi Sharon – How nice to hear from you! Re: kids and grandkids: I have 3 wonderful stepsons – all married with kids. Bob and I have a Vietnamese foster daughter who is now 36, an attorney, married, with a beautiful little 6-yr.-old daughter, Elinor Theodora
– so we have 6 grandchildren. I worked as a Spanish teacher and then for. lang. dept. head in a large, urban school system in MA (Brockton) – for 33 years! Joanie also was a Sp. teacher and dept. head – but she left her work to raise her 2 daughters, Elizabeth (21) and Sarah (19). Elizabeth is a junior at Vanderbilt Univ., spending this semester in Australia, and Sarah is a freshman at Duke. So – that’s our life in a nutshell! I am now retired – teaching part-time at a local community college – and enjoying spending as much time as possible with our granddaughter, Elinor.
The house that you mentioned, on the corner of Witch Lane and Row. Ave. – I think that was the house that my great-aunt, Ruth Scott, lived in for a number of years – 2nd floor rental. Did your parents own that house?
Hi Teddy: Yes, I remember you very well! We all used to come up to your house and play dress-up! Wow, so many yrs ago. I am remarried to a wonderful man and we live in the foothills of the mountains in South Carolina. I really love it here. Lamar, his Mom & I came up to New York state and Ct. for the Christmas holidays. I have family in New York State. We took 2 days in Ct. down memory lane. Rode up Ridgewood Rd and then on Witch Lane where I lived as a teenager. Our house and my Aunts house on the corner have been torn down and 4 houses built in their place! Sure isn’t the same. What have you been doing for the past 40+ yrs? Do you have children & grandchildren? Great to hear from you and please give my best to Joanie.
Hi Sharon – it’s so nice to read about you after ALL these years and to see your picture. My family lived up the street from you on Ridgewood Rd. – second to the last house on the left. (That house burned down a number of years ago, and a new, more contemporary one was built.) I remember having a crush on Paul – I think he was our paper boy.
My sister Joanie and I live in Massachusetts, in Hingham and Halifax, not too far from each other, and my Dad is now 86, living on the Cape. Mom passed away 4 years ago . Lots of wonderful Ridgewood Rd. memories.
